Who Are We?
Hey, I'm Deron — nope, not Drone. I shoot competitors, fitness athletes and serious lifters here in Las Vegas, and I don't work alone. My wife Sarah is on every session with me. We both compete, and that's the part that matters: when you hit a pose, I know which line you worked for and whether it's reading on camera.
Most of my clients have never done a photoshoot before. You don't need to know how to pose, and you don't need to be eight weeks out from a stage. You bring the physique you built. I'll handle the rest.
This page answers what people ask me most. If yours isn't here, just ask, I'm surprisingly friendly 😅😅 lol.
What You Get Here That You Won't Get Anywhere Else
Two of Us, Every Session
I direct and shoot. Sarah runs upkeep, shine, flyaways, a strap out of place, makes you laugh; she's the perfectionist you want on your team. She's a licensed cosmetologist, so it isn't guesswork. You get a two-person crew at a one-person price, and it's the thing past clients bring up most.
We Both Compete
Not just a "we're into fitness too" photography team. We both prep and we both step on stage. I'm a washed up Men's Physique guy. She's an IFBB Pro. That's why I know which lines you built, which ones disappear under bad light, and how to make the work show.
You Don't Prepare Anything
Posing is directed every moment of the session, beginning to end. Hands, chin, shoulders, abs, guidance given the entire way through. Bring your outfits...that's the homework.
What to Know Before You Book | FAQ
When should I schedule my photoshoot around my bodybuilding competition?
The one window to avoid is peak week itself. You're depleted, dehydrated, running on nerves and saving all your energy for the stage. Anything else works. If you can stay through the weekend, the day after your show is the best you will ever look: rebounded, tan still on, carb'd up and happy. If you can't, we shoot when you can, and I'll tell you honestly what your condition will look like on that date. Plenty of my clients shoot weeks or months out from a stage, and many never compete at all.
How much does a physique photoshoot cost in Las Vegas?
One hour is $500 and includes five finished images. Each hour above the first does have perks though. Two hours is $900 with ten and the entire gallery. Three hours is $1,300 with fifteen, and allows for multiple locations.
Additional images are $50 for one, $90 for two, or $200 for five, and studio or location rental is billed at cost.
How do I book a photoshoot with you?
Send me your date or your show, where you'd like to shoot, and what the images are for. That's typically enough for me to advise you on price/location/etc. I confirm every date by hand, then the agreement and a 50% retainer go out; the balance is due the day of the session. I answer every message myself, usually the same day. I do not use AI for customer communication.
Do I need to be in contest shape to book a fitness photoshoot?
No. Peak condition photographs beautifully, but most of my clients aren't within eight weeks of a stage, some never plan on getting there. If you've built something you want photographed properly, the lighting and direction do the same work at any condition. If you are prepping, the day after your show is the best you will ever look.
What poses should I learn before my photoshoot?
None. Posing is directed the whole way through, every session, at every length. I'll tell you what to do with your hands, your chin, your shoulders and your breathing. I compete, so I know which lines you worked for and how to make them read on camera. Most people asking this are first-timers, and they leave with incredible images as will everyone!
Do I need to get my hair and makeup done for a photoshoot?
If you're shooting the day after a show, some things may already be taken care of, such as the tan. Outside of show weekends, book your own artist if you want a full glam look; I'm happy to tell you what reads well on camera. Either way, Sarah is a licensed cosmetologist and handles upkeep on set, so shine, flyaways and a lifting lash get fixed as we shoot rather it than showing up in your gallery.
How long until I get my photos after the shoot?
Your gallery lands within seven days of the session, with every frame delivered being the best version taken, and you choose which ones get finished. Finished images arrive within fourteen days of your selections. If you need something sooner for a post, ask. I'll sometimes have one finished image out well before the gallery.
Do I get all the photos from my session, or just the edited ones?
Every session gets a preview gallery with every frame worth keeping, and you pick your finished images from it — five per hour you booked. Book two hours or more and that entire gallery arrives lightly edited, yours to download and use. Group bookings get the full lightly edited gallery for every athlete, whatever length they shot.
Where do you shoot in Las Vegas?
Gyms, rented studios, and outdoor locations around the valley — desert, dry lakebed, poolside — chosen for what suits your look. Studio or location rental is billed at cost on top of the session. Tell me what you have in mind and I'll tell you what it costs.
Can I bring a friend or coach to the shoot?
Definitely. Having someone you trust nearby can boost confidence and help you feel more comfortable. Just let me know in advance so we can plan accordingly.
